Indiana Chamber Presents Rankings for 2022 Best Places to Work in Indiana
The Indiana Chamber of Commerce honored 125 companies from across the state on May 12, 2022 at the 2022 Best Places to Work in Indiana dinner celebration, sponsored by Ivy Tech Community College. Rankings for the organizations were revealed in four categories at the event, which was held in Indianapolis at the Indiana Convention Center. ADVISA ranked 15th in the Small Company (15-76 U.S. employees).
Honorees and rankings were determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys. The Workforce Research Group handled the selection process.
“Imagine springing out of bed every morning excited to get to work. The 125 companies on the 2022 list have created an environment where that is as close to the case as possible,” offers Indiana Chamber President and CEO Kevin Brinegar.
Winning companies ranged in employee count (at the time of application) from 15 to nearly 1,300. Out-of-state parent companies were eligible to participate if at least 15 full-time employees are in Indiana. For 2022, the selected honorees represented more than 35 cities and towns across the state.
Organizations that have displayed sustained excellence during the program’s history are also awarded a Best Places to Work in Indiana Hall of Fame designation. These companies have been named a Best Place to Work in Indiana at least 60% of the time in the program’s history. Two companies – Edward Jones and Katz, Sapper & Miller – have made the Best Places to Work list all 17 years of the program.

All companies that participated in the 2022 Best Places to Work program receive an in-depth evaluation identifying strengths and weaknesses according to their employees. In turn, this report can be used in developing or enhancing employee retention and recruitment programs.
In addition to the awards, winners will be recognized via a special section of the Indiana Chamber’s BizVoice® magazine and through Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick – both of which reach statewide audiences. Additional program partners are HR Indiana SHRM, Indiana Department of Workforce Development, Wellness Council of Indiana and Workforce Research Group.
