Nora Elder
Nora is passionate about applying data to support strong, effective workplace cultures. She is dedicated to making sure that leaders at all levels have the skills, mindsets, and environments necessary to be at their best.
Before joining ADVISA in 2016, Nora’s background was in recruitment, retention and employee engagement, where she developed her passion for the human element at work. Although she grew up in Indiana and is proud to call it home, a piece of Nora’s heart belongs to Portland, Oregon where she graduated from (and then worked at) Reed College.
Outside of work, Nora is an avid hiker who is passionate about animals. She currently has a rescue dog, cat, and leopard gecko. She also loves thrift fashion and DJing—both of which involve finding things out in the wild that inspire her, then putting them together in fun and original ways. Her mantra is “if it’s worth doing, it’s worth making it fun.”
Mike Elliott
Mike comes to ADVISA with almost 20 years of leadership experience in the not-for-profit and for-profit sector. He earned his Leadership and Performance Coaching Certification from the School of Professional Studies at Brown University in 2022.
Born in Canada and raised in Australia, Mike now resides in Indianapolis. Having experienced a diverse collection of cultures and organizations, he has developed a unique viewpoint into how different people think and act. Mike’s greatest desire for everyone he encounters is to understand, “how can we make this better”. This desire drives him to be collaborative, creative, and curious in the pursuit to connect and facilitate practical and transformative conversations with a diverse mix of audiences.
Matt Frongillo
Matt Frongillo joined ADVISA in 2019 and has been continuously motivated by his chance to work with, and learn from, clients in the training room. He brings six years of time within the education reform movement, having taught in both Detroit and Indianapolis, to each facilitation experience.
Matt grew up in Massachusetts and completed his undergraduate studies at Bowdoin College, where he studied environmental science and history. He also has a master’s in public health with a concentration in environmental health. Outside of work, Matt enjoys cooking and music.
Heather Haas
Heather believes everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive at work. As President of ADVISA, Heather brings vision and passion to creating a magnetic work culture where the best and brightest people choose to work. She loves building and working alongside the members of the A-Team to help clients create competitive advantage and achieve results through their people.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Indiana University, Heather spent her early career as a teacher and principal, eventually earning her master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Heather has coached and trained thousands of leaders to build trust and shared purpose with others through self-awareness, authenticity, connection and emotional intelligence. Heather is certified facilitator of Predictive Index®, Customer-Focused Selling™, Coaching for Sales Growth™, Center for Creative Leadership’s Benchmarks 360 and Multi-Health Systems EQ-i 2.0, as well as a certified Talent Optimization Leader.
Heather is married with three children and two big dogs. She loves the mountains, curling up with a book, singer/songwriter music, being active outdoors and traveling. Her family and her faith are her greatest sources of joy and strength.
Kye Hawkins
Kye’s work as a Leadership Consultant begins with her unshakeable optimism and a strong belief in people: in their ability to change and grow, in their good intentions, and in their ability to problem-solve when faced with tough situations. Kye brings warmth, enthusiasm, and authenticity to helping leaders build effective teams and cultures based on trust and shared purpose.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in communication and sociology at DePauw University, Kye spent her early career in higher education administration, eventually earning her master’s degree in Education Policy and Organizational Leadership. Since joining ADVISA in 2015, she’s become a certified EQ (Emotional Intelligence) practitioner and has coached and trained hundreds of leaders to recognize and self-manage their caution areas while identifying and leveraging their strengths.
Kye lives in Indianapolis with her husband Ryan, two sons, and one very anxious dog. Her “happy places” are her yoga mat (she’s a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200) and has a daily practice), her stand-up paddle board in Northern Michigan, any beach, and creek-stompin’-hikes in Marrott Park with Ryan and her two boys. Nothing stirs her soul more than planning a trip and exploring new cities, cultures, food, and people.
Patrick Howe
Patrick is passionate about helping clients grow revenue by growing their people. He uses powerful collaboration and meaningful discovery to lead others to impactful conclusions, strategies, and actions. Prior to joining ADVISA, Patrick’s sales and leadership experience allowed him to build new coaching, sales effectiveness, onboarding, and leadership development programs for Comcast NBC Universal. Essentially, guiding others towards enlightenment and success is his mission.
Patrick and his wife have three children and they love the adventures of traveling together as a family. As a graduate of Indiana University with a degree in Telecommunications, Patrick is also a certified coach through the Co-Active Training Institute and is actively involved in EDGE Mentoring.
Christian Pettitt
Christian brings to ADVISA twenty-four years of experience in diverse and collaborative organizational leadership roles in the not-for-profit sector. His role allows him to live out his passion to help leaders reach their full potential by better understanding themselves, their organizations, and key internal and external stakeholders so that their organizations can thrive.
A proud graduate of Miami University, Christian recently completed a M.A. in Leadership. He brings to his work a range of extensive experience using tools such as Gallup’s CliftonStrengths assessment with individuals and teams. An empathetic, people-oriented leader, he is passionate to help leaders understand the importance of integrating both character and competency into their organizations.
Christian and his wife Lisa live in Fishers with their three college-age children. He enjoys hiking with Lisa and their Boston Terrier, Riley, playing eighteen holes of golf when he has the rare chance to do so, and contemplating the joys of a soon-to-be empty nest.
Lisa Pettitt
Lisa Pettitt loves helping leaders reach their greatest potential by recognizing and living out of their own gifts and passions and enabling others to do the same.
After obtaining her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Miami University, Lisa used her talent for connecting people and ideas to build leaders and teams in the non-profit sector for over twenty years. She’s thrilled to transfer her experience equipping leaders and creating healthy team culture to her work at ADVISA.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys hiking with her family or curling up with a good book.
