Joel brings a vast amount of real world and in-classroom training experience to his role as a Training Specialist with ADVISA. His passion is supporting individuals and teams into self-awareness and the path forward to their desired specific vision of success.
Prior to joining ADVISA, Joel spent nine years in medical device sales and sales management, three years as a sales training manager for a leading global medical technology company, and seven years in private practice of divorce & family mediation, coaching, and training & development.
Joel is a Registered Mediator with the Supreme Court of Indiana and during the pandemic volunteered to become a Landlord Tenant Settlement Facilitator, working towards fair and equitable agreements that supported individuals in avoiding eviction.
Joel earned his degree in Corporate and Institutional Finance from Ball State University and is a proud graduate of Erickson College’s Art and Science of Coaching Program. He is an active volunteer for the Mid-North Food Pantry, where he and his daughter help manage the gardens growing fresh produce for the thousands of guests that visit the pantry each year. Outside of work, Joel loves to hike and bike with his daughter while enjoying his home in downtown Indianapolis.
