Heather Haas has been named president of ADVISA replacing Bob Wilson, company founder and former president, who has been named chairman. Both assume their new roles immediately.
Haas joined ADVISA in 2004 as the firm’s training and recruitment manager. She was promoted to director of strategic initiatives in 2006 and chief operating officer in 2008. In 2009 she was also named vice president. She has a master’s degree in educational leadership and a bachelor’s of science degree in elementary education from Indiana University. She spent her career prior to ADVISA as a teacher, principal and non-profit project director.
Wilson began the company as a one-person firm in 1986 and has grown the business to 13 employees and 252 clients today. In addition to its Carmel headquarters, ADVISA has locations in Bloomington and Muncie in Indiana; Muskegon, Michigan; and Columbus, Ohio.
